Description: *Day 1 of Kathak Workshop at Goswami's Moms Pride School!* 🩰✨ We are thrilled to announce the successful commencement of our 7-day *Kathak workshop at Goswami's Moms Pride School!* 🎉 Conducted by renowned Kathak artist *Shri Kumar Kant Lahiri, a revered disciple of Padma Vibhushan Pandit Birju Maharaj 🌟,* the workshop began with a beautiful Saraswati Puja ceremony. Students and teachers enthusiastically participated, seeking blessings for knowledge and artistic expression. 🙏📚🎨 On this exciting first day, Shri Kumar Kant Lahiri introduced students to various Kathak techniques and postures, covering the foundational basics. He specifically taught the students various mudras (hand gestures) and movements on Teen Taal (a fundamental rhythmic cycle in Kathak), laying a strong foundation for their Kathak journey. The students showed great enthusiasm and eagerness to learn! The workshop aims to promote Kathak, a classical dance form integral to Uttar Pradesh's rich cultural heritage. We look forward to a fruitful week of learning & growth!
